As it is now you have to put in your departure city and keep on re-entering your destination to see the deals. Why cannot there be a site you put in your location and it shows you the best deals of all the destinations. For example I put in Houston and it pulls shows among others a100 roundtrip flight to Bangor Maine and a 25 a night bed and breakfast.

Great question. This is already there in most big travel sites but you will have to pick at least a destination. Creating deals to every destinations based on a given departure place seems like a giant project. It is possible search engines like google or yahoo will soon come be out with a travel package search engine where you can pick your city and get results to travel deals every-where from that city.
I have often noticed small travel sites to be more focused on local stuff often providing excellent services. So checkout some local travel portals of your departure location. That should help
