I’m pregnant – is it safe for me to travel to a place with significantly warmer temperatures?
Question by Allie Mae: I’m pregnant – is it safe for me to travel to a place with significantly warmer temperatures?
I’m from Wisconsin. My husband and I are planning on taking a vacation to New Orleans in June, and I will be 3 months pregnant then. Is it safe for me and the baby to go to a place with much higher temperatures than we are used to? Will the rise in my body temperature while visiting there be harmful?

Of course you can go. Just like anytime you go anywhere, take breaks and stay hydrated. You’ll be fine.

You’ll be fine. Your body regulates it’s temperature. I went from MN to Hawaii and didn’t have any problems.
it’s definitely fine. especially since you’ll only be 3 months along. if you were 9 months, it would be a different story.
