Question by Zoe: ideas for books about pirates or time travel?
I want to write a book about pirates or time travel but im kind of in a writers block. i feel like whatever i write about the pirate deal ends up resembling pirates of the carribean, and for the time travel it always sounds like dr. who (you’ve probably never even watched that show but it does seem like it) anyways im just looking for unique ideas to start me on these topics. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!!

you could do pirates and time travel together.
my opinion:
there are six pirates traveling in the same deep ocean… across the seven seas… they hit a rock though and fall into the water.
they are unconscious.when they wake up, they are on a sandy beach, they go in the woods hoping to find some help but what they see is the 21st century ( they lived back in the 10th c. i dont know.. you pick that)

Here is something: have the pirates sail into this vortex in the ocean that no one knew about. Then the vortex sucks them and their boat (and a little parrot named “blorf’”) into a time warp. And they all end up one year behind the year they left. So its like, if they got sucked into the time warp in 1790, they get sucked back to 1789. Then they sail around as usual. And then they finally realize, on new years eve 1789 that they got suck back a year in the time warp. But its too late; the year already passed by so there is nothing they can do about it. And then, at the new years party, blorf, the parrot gets tanked and takes a whiz on this pirate map showing where a bunch of gold is. The end.
