Do you need a passport to travel from a continental state to Hawaii?
Question by : Do you need a passport to travel from a continental state to Hawaii?
I know it’s still part of the US, but because it’s an island, do you need a passport? I’m from Wisconsin…if that makes a difference.
Everyone’s (except for Soccer mom) answers are so mean!! I’m planning on getting married in Hawaii in Feb and just wanted to make sure I knew exactly what I was doing before I started dishing out money. I thought this was the place to ask questions… Why waste your time to answer if you’re just going to call me stupid? So, thanks again to Soccer mam for being the only nice one!!!

No, you do not need a passport to travel to Hawaii any more than you need one to travel to Texas. That it’s an island is irrelevant. Your driver’s license will be fine.

No you don’t need passport as long as you are traveling within the 50 states. Just bring your ID and boarding pass then you will be fine. Happy traveling!!
Please tell me that this is a joke. Of course not.
no you do not…if its if you go to another country!
Last time I looked at a map Hawaii was still part of the US….so no you don’t need a passport. Though you may want to brush up on your US Geography a wee bit.
No you do not need a passport to travel to Hawaii. You will however on the plane ride there, be asked to fill out paper if you are taking any fruits or vegetables or plant life with you. I didn’t have to fill one out because I didn’t have anything to declare so to speak. It is very expensive to take an animal with you as they have to be quarantined for a long time when they get there. That is only for people who are moving there. If you are going just for vacation then leave pet at home. Aloha
State to state does not require you to use a passport, at least
not yet.
1 last thing, get a map and learn about the country.
2nd, I’ve been to Wisconsin and made it in and out without any papers.
As much as I hate to say this but when you realize that you have the answers in front of you, the same keys that led you here will give the same report about Hawaii,PS lived there in the early 70s after Nam
