Depends on your nationality. USA Citizens just need ID. The rest need a passport and a visa

last i checked alaska was still a state.
so if you’re american, then you’re all set.
but i’ll double check if its a state or not.

The other answers to date are incomplete, so here goes:

Over 16, US citizen, direct air flight 48 states to Alaska: government-issued photo ID to get on the plane. Usually a state driver’s license.

Under-16, no ID needed the airilnes let you on without ID.

Air flights with connections through Canada: you need a passport (book or card.)

Land- (or sea-) entry Canada to USA: passport or a State Issued Enhanced Driver’s License (when available) or various US merchant marine, US military or tribal IDs.

Under-16, land or sea: copy or original of birth certificate suffices. A passport works too.

If you are not a US citizen, you need a valid passport with a valid visa (unless you qualify from the visa waiver program) to enter the USA from another country. But flying from Seattle or Salt Lake or Minneapolis to Anchorage is a domestic flight. A valid drivers license suffices to get on the plane.
