Yes you do. It depends on the reason of visiting the US. Need more info.. but here is the website with all the info you need. GL and have fun.. i know leaving the US going to Europe can be a lengthy process.

    You have to have a passport to get into the US and back; that applies to US citizens too.

    If you are from the UK and have a modern, machine readable passport and are entering for tourism purposes and staying 90 days or less you can enter under the Visa Waiver Program without a Visa. Just be advised, that by doing so, you are waiving your rights to appeal if the customs agent bars you. Basically, that means you could get all the way here and be turned back without any right to appeal the decision. So, if you are a gambler, (pun intended) take a shot without it. Or if you want to be on the safe side, get a tourist Visa.

    The US does not require visa’s from 26 countries around the world if they have a machine readable passport (which I wouldn’t worry about unless your passport is 10 years old).

    The visa-waiver program applies to most countries in Western Europe (except Greece). They are starting to admit countries from Eastern Europe (Slovenia and Slovakia are accepted into the program). Eventually it may be extended to all the countries of the EU,

    But UK is no problem. The UK is the largest source of international Vegas tourists outside of Nrth America.
