You’re not from here, are you? The only time you need a passport is when you actually leave the country.
A passport is an identification document (ID) for use when traveling to another country (internationally). You do not need one to travel domestically (within your own country). As of 2008, for instance, you will need a passport to visit Canada from the United States. Some countries also require a visa.
A passport is a good piece of ID to have even if you do not plan to visit another country in the immediate or near future. (In Canada, a passport is valid for five years and they are thinking of extending this to ten years.)
Within the US, however, a birth certificate or a driver’s licence should probably be sufficient ID to carry.
No, not to anywhere within the U.S. If you are a citizen, that includes any of the US territories (like Puerto Rico).
You only need passports to get out of the country like to Mexico and Canada.
unless ur driving to Alaska. then u might need 1 to get thru Canada
no, just a valid government-issued id. if you want to go to canada, bahamas, mexico, etc- you would need a passport, and obviously further abroad. but washington to wisconsin does not call for a passport.
Passports are for international travel. All you need is a government-issued ID to travel domestically.
No, you only an ID. Name on ticket and name on ID have to match.
No, you dont need a passport to buy a plane ticket to Wisconsin. You just need a credit card (or debt card if there is enough money in the checking account) to buy the ticket and when you get to the airport, you just need a drivers license or some photo ID (with your first and last name on it) to check in and get through security.
