Vacation Help & Tips (Kings Island & Days Inn Or Travel Lodge)?

Question by : Vacation Help & Tips (Kings Island & Days Inn Or Travel Lodge)?
My family is going on vacation soon to Kings Island. We will be riding in a van. It has 8 seats. We plan on taking My Father, Mother, Brother, Julia, Diamond, Chris, Kyle, my brother’s girlfriend Morgan and me. I have two save coupons and 4 tickets are free. http://www.visitkingsisland.com/ this link leads to the website. The ages of the people coming are 12, 12, 10, 9, 8, 19, 22, 48, and 48. We stay at travel lodge or days inn. How many hotel rooms should we need? Do we have enough room in the car? What will be the cost for tickets? what should we pack? And how much do you think the hotel rooms will cost? There will be 2 adults and 3 children in 1 room and 2 adults and 2 children in the other room. How many lockers should we need Adults will share with kids. Thanks for answering!!!

Well the adult tickets that you have off coupons for will be roughly -14 each. I think you have to pay for parking so good thing you have a large van. I don’t remember how much it is though, but I’d say the room in the van will be tight but try not to take a whole other vehicle. How far are you coming from though, if it’s more than a couple hrs you may wanna just pay the extra parking in leu of comfort while riding.

2 rooms should be fine, depending on how old/large the children are in the first room (with 3 kids) if they are young and small they can all sleep in the same bed, esp if it’s just for one night or a weekend. And just don’t tell them when you check in that you have 3 kids in one room I think some hotels only allow 4 people to a room.

Search for hotels here:

or on Priceline or something like that, and just search for Mason, oh.

Pack food and drinks with you !!!!!!! Don’t eat at the park unless there is something there you really reallly wanna try. There isn’t anything there (except LaRosa’s pizza and Skyline) that you can’t get somewhere else for waaaayy cheaper…and if you’re from out of town and want to try LaRosa’s or Skyline just get it driving or something. They will stamp your hand so you can go back to your car and eat and then re-enter the park. I dont know if they let you bring water bottles into the park but just pack some bottled water or other drinks.

You’ll probably only need 2 or three lockers, bring a change of clothes for everyone to get into after the day, b/c sweat or water (there are water rides).
