do you tried using the tourist info machine?? You can select whatever you are looking for and print a map, is in the central station.

Of course you can search on google, with the location of your postal code with the 4 numbers and 2 letters as address, or your actual address of course.
But if it is for food you can search the restaurant review site Iens: http://www.iens.nl/ (In Dutch but it might have an English language version too.)
A good general information site about Amsterdam is: http://www.amsterdam.info/
And they have a restaurants page too: http://www.amsterdam.info/restaurants/
But Asian is not specific enough in a city like Amsterdam.
Search for Japans (Japanese) – Chinees (Chinese) – Indonees (Indonesian) – Fusion for a mix of Asian cuisines – Thais – Indian (often mentioned in English rather than the Dutch Indiaas) and so on.
Some of my favorites can be found in the street called Zeedijk, which runs from Nieuwmarkt towards centraal station, but you can find Asian food all over Amsterdam, even when much is Indonesian/Chinese.
And alternatively, ask your hotel owner, or the people in a shop near, most of them will know the restaurants in the streets around.

If you stay outside Amsterdam, there is still a good chance that you can find an Asian restaurant. Best chance is Indonisian/Chinese, but Thai, Indian and even Japanese are possible too.
