The Taste of Chicago is the largest food festival in the world, and one of the most popular events in Illinois. It started in 1980 when a group of restaurant owners suggested the idea of a food festival on the Fourth of July to the mayor of Chicago(Jane Byrne). At first the Taste of Chicago took place on North Michigan Avenue, but it was moved to Grant Park because the size of the festival was expanding. But one thing I would do on the last sentence would be to say it is the second largest attraction in Illinois, only second to——- whatever it is second to.
