I’d purchase your ticket now only because the sooner you buy it the cheaper they are. The closer you come to your travel date, even with any changes in airfare, the cheaper seats will be gone.
Air Canada flies to Delhi as do many other major carriers. Some fly through the UK and some fly through Denmark. I think Luftansa flies as well and of course that goes through Frankfurt.
Personally, I like’d going through Denmark when I worked in India for three years but if you don’t plan on overnighting it really doesn’t matter.

That’s hard to tell, because one guess is as good as another. However, if you find a good deal, buy it now but make sure you get travel insurance that has cancellation coverage. That way, if there is a general embargo on travel, you will get your money back.
Or you can wait and see what world conditions are like by summer.
Prices are usually at their lowest in the summer because it’s so hot here at that time. Winter prices tend to be the highest.
