  1. MS - In Peace says:

At the first when Rahul Gandhi issues statements against Shiv Sena I was little surprised and disappointed for the following reasons:

    1. Why he did not speak up until now. Speaking now means he is speaking only for Bihar elections but not for North Indians. And I still stand by my statement though I am a congress supporter.

    2. Rahul Gandhi is a non-controversial politician with clean image, he hardly gives a chance to any one to attack on him, but his these statements gave chance to Shiv Sena to attack on him. And we all know how low can Shiv Sena can go. Thus instead of him, either Sonia Gandhi or Dr. Manmohan Singh or Mr. P Chitambaram should have given this statement. And I stand by my this though also.

When I see the aftermath of his statements, I see that state government what was sleeping all this time, suddenly is active.

    - Union Home Minister says, government will take action, so far he was dumb spectator on this issue.

    - State home minister has asked to inquire into every video clips and news papers of statements of Thackerys in last 15 days, and if any thing found that is against the law, register cases.

    - State government has asked Attorney General to see what can be done against Shiv Sena mouth peace Saamana.

All this happened because of the confrontation between Shiv Sena and Rahul Gandhi. May be also Mukesh Ambani, Shaharuk Khan, Aamir Khan, Sachin Tendukar episode added to it, but mainly because of Rahul Gandhi.

In my opinion, Rahul Gandhi going to Mumbai, and Shiv Sena trying to create a mess, is going to off course going to create some tension but aftermath government will have to fix them. They will be under obligation to fix Shiv Sena if Shiv Sena does anything against Rahul Gandhi. I am seeing a bad time for Shiv Sena tomorrow. And I am also saying that Rahul Gandhi should not change his preplanned tour under threats from Shiv Sena, he should tour Mumbai, India is for Indians, and any Indian is free to go to any part of India.

Shiv Sena did this in 1960s against South Indians, Gujarati’s and Marwari’s now they are doing against North Indians, and I think it is high time, that government should fix them, and fix them once for all.

absolutely yes..hes shown not only courage but also common sense and political acumen by ignoring the senas and doing what he wants..india is one and all indians stand united…the thing about the shiva sena and others is the more attention you give them..the more they grow…rahul gandhi has firstly refused to pay them any attention and go about his activities normally..and secondly he has delivered what is perhaps a finishing blow to the senas…they had been weakening since long..and now they have been reduced to a laughing stock..they “warned” rahul of consequences..so he accepted the challenge..and he left them rying in the battle field..what consequeences?..there used to be a time when anything the sena’s said was the law..they could black out the city in minutes..today..inspite of trying their best..they couldnt even cast a shadow over rahul gandhi…i think thats a very good thing for india

I think MS has given a very honest reaction, in spite of his known soft corner for the Congress. This is in contrast to the eloquence of AP madam, who could not get over her infatuation with the Congress. At least once in a while, it is good to speak truth from heart, instead of talking only from head all the time. I know she will yell at me to ‘hold there’ but I like her rebukes.. I am used to the bully of grand children whenever I try to restrain their misadventures.. Children are sweet even in their mischievous postures, though we can not relish the risky sweetness.. (I think this is enough provocation to have some intellectual abuses – after all it is boring to hear dry arguments sans the spice of hostility, as we had really got so much used to hate and hostility that civility is so insipid..)

I think Bullji, both Sena and Rahulji may try a chance to become heroes in their own ways.. Maha govt may indeed be compelled to book the villains (long overdue) at least under a few weak criminal sections.. The unruly mob already allowed to be trained by the goons would get active and court arrests, further causing panic to the vote bank traders.

Meanwhile, Rahulji would also be hailed as a hero by Congress men particularly in Bihar.. Seems our Dr Karuna and Dr Jaya of Tamilnadu – both closely associated with celluloid dream world – are inspiring many other politicians in the art of dramatising..!!
