Can the phone number 919-779-788921 be a calling card from India?

Question by seaofdesire: Can the phone number 919-779-788921 be a calling card from India?
Damnit I hope it’s not! My boyfriend went to visit India for two months and we’ve only been able to communicate through facebook, but this morning I woke up at had three missed calls from the above number all just a minute or two apart. Do you think it could be him.. or just a telemarketer? If it is I feel awful, I haven’t heard his voice in forever. :c

if its a missed call from india it should have a +91 in the begining. But if its a calling card it might have a different rule.

this is a mobile number..the break up is :

it can very well be a Mobile handset no. You can check if it s a calling card or a mobile set. Call back on the number, if it rings, its a mobile from India, if i doesnt, its a calling card.
(you cant call back on calling card nos.)

    helps ?

Looks to me as a mobile number. There are reasons on why it is not your boys friends number. One – The number you received while he is calling, could have been paralleled to a different number by the service provider. It happens once in a while with certain providers.

It is fine if you can call back to the same number using your prepaid calling card.
