Question by indhp: There are 137 million muslims in India. India has a large number of Muslim Holy Places.?
Islam is the second-largest religion in India (after Hinduism – 80.5%), where Muslims number around 137 million (13.4%).
Contrary to general belief, Islam came to India long before Mughals. Trade relations between Arabia and Indian sub-continent are very ancient. Arabs used to visit the coast of Southern India, which was a link between the ports of South and South East Asia, even before Islam had been established in Arabia. As these traders became Muslim, Islam was slowly brought to South Asia. A number of local Indians living in the coastal areas (Kerala) were moved by the principles of Islam and got converted. The first Indian mosque was built in Kasargod during 642 A.D (22 Hizri).
India has a large number of Holy places of worship for the muslims. Visit the link below for more:

I’m sure India and Arabia had trading relations before Mohammed was even born.
Give your answer to this question below!
Actually you’re not quite right. Persians probably came there before Arabs, but both Hindi and Buddhism where alreay there. They are FAR older religions than Islam.
And if you’re going to make an issue of who was there by age, then Jews have a right to part of Palestine because THERE WERE THERE thousands and thousands of years ago.
So, now, decide the rights issue on an even keel. Jews get the same rights Muslims get as to “possion” and “occupation” of land and who left and who didn’t.
Buddhists probably have more of a right to Kasmir than anyone else.
