Q&A: Is racism always really racism? Who are actually racist?
Question by Ank: Is racism always really racism? Who are actually racist?
The whole world know about Indians made parade in Australia for being racially abused. But how they were abused —they were shoved or hurt. and they came up with a procession blocking streets.
Interestingly, one year before this incident, some young girls from Australia were travelling India and were RAPED and getting no help from Indian law they flew back to Australia frightened (there are many more such incidents, such news flooded indian dailies). But Australians never said it was racial abuse and they never made procession over it blocking the streets.
Imagine the same thing happened to an indian in Australia, then what indians would do!!!
Moreover , foreign tourists are fearing to come to Goa beach (an indian tourist spot) because over the past few years hundreds of tourists were raped, abused physically including THE MURDER OF A BRITSH GIRL.
So who are actually racist?
Is the racism done by westerns to Indians always racism? (e.g. an indian student peeing in open in Australia(actually they do that), then an Australian student asks him not to do that, then the indian reports racial abuse.
Another example– in USA , india-born designer Anand Jon has been recently sentenced to 59 years for sexually assaulting at least “16″ aspiring models including minors. And in india his wife openly termed this sentence as racist to the media and many indians supported her.)

yeah i can see the double standards. let me google anand jon
yeah ! exactly the point is the victims of these cases have a history of panic with the accuse or area or are part of the gangs whereas the news consider them as victims of racial abuse .. i have friends studying their in australia who are happy and have their own view about it . our upgraded standard worldwide and self assessment of being acknowledged as indians now has given them a new edge to speak up for every issue .. may be they are right but not always .
Racism is “judgement based on race”. WE ALL DO THIS AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER IN OUR LIVES. So, that being said let’s get over ourselves and all you ladies come to my harem and get some lovin. the sultan is BACK!!!
Racist is a fear word now. They use it whenever someone want to detract attention or responsibility from their own actions.
People have abused the use of the word so badly at this point it has lost all sting to me.
The definition is broad now that literally everyone fits the description.
“The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability ”
This is what a racist means to me.
“Race-based violence, discrimination, or oppression”
