my problem is tht our family is moving from hyd to our hometown in rajasthan, alwar dist. n i hv a pet labrador dog n i can’t lv him here, so i just want to know tht how can i transport him to my hometown? and how much wil it cost me?my pets age is about 4 months.
i hav train service frm hyd to delhi but thn i hv to travel by bus for a minimum of 3 hrs, so thts also a big problem.plz help ?

You can fly with him. Check whatever flight you want to take their rules.You will have to get made / buy special pet carrier. Find out the specification by the air lines.Might cost 4,000- 5,000 for the He should be able to stand comfortably and even turn. He will be checked in as luggage. You will have to pay charges for the flight.
As for train i think you can travel first class only.
You could go by road too with overnight halt.

i know its tough to travel with your pets.. best recommendation i have for you is to take a train from hyd to delhi as you have planned and then travel via taxi.

flights allow pets – they hvae certain restrictions – better to check with them. on trains – I dont think it is allowed. buses with pvt operators should allow it. best is taxi / own car and u will prob need a cage for these journeys.
