Skiing and water sports in North India?

I will be travelling to India during December with 2 kids (16+8), I would love to have them try out skiing and water sports. Can someone please advise about the good spots and route if possible, only in North India side, like uttaranchal, JK, Himachal Pradesh etc. Thanks in advance.

There are many travel destinations for skiing and water sports in North India.Rishikesh in Uttaranachal is the best for White Water Rafting.Kufri and Manali are for the Skiing. You can also get details from the website http://www.leh-ladakh.com/
