I am planning a trip to India with my family and we have some time issues. We want to go to Mumbai and would like to go to Goa and maybe even the backwaters of Kerala is time is good. Also, I want to see Rajasthan (Jaipur maybe, Udaipur, Jaisalmer, Bikaner or Pushkar). We want to take a camel ride in Jaisalmer. Lastly, we want to see Agra, Delhi, and Varanasi with side trips to Khajuraho and Sarnath. Is this possible to go from South India to North India seeing these sights with a reasonable amount of time in each place to see the city and travel time included? We DO NOT want to go for any more than 3 weeks but a cople days over 2 weeks would be better.

Three weeks is good enough and if you want to do it in 2 weeks you have to fly between major cities to save time. Off course it is doable travel. I would still go for 3 weeks with enough time in my hand to see many interesting places.

No you can’t cover up all mention places in three weeks it will be like finishing assignments and you will not able to enjoy the beauty of all places. You will get tired by traveling and exhausted.

Three weeks is very less time to explore India, when you are planning to visit so many places. Every city needs at least of 2-3 days to get explored completely. From you details you looked like little bit interested in Adventure activity also so for adventure sports in India you can go to many places from south to north.
